As mentioned in my previous post, I am ready to share with you some useful tips and tricks to get your pages recognized by search engines and yield better search results. So, we are using 4 virtual page rank increasing tools - Technorati, StumbleUpon, Delicious, Twitter. In this post, let us discuss about the tasks we are going to perform in Delicious and StumbleUpon. Inorder to describe about twitter and Technorati, seperate posts are needed as they are too long.

After signing into Delicious, just go through the most popular blogs and sites. You can easily find out pages sharing similar interests by inserting the key phrase in the search bar of Delicious. When you search a particular phrase, you will land on the search results page with more than hundreds of pages and articles sharing the similar topics as that of yours. You have to make use of this. The most popular pages will appear as the top results. For example : If you search for the phrase "Earn from your blog", then you can see the most popular sites like Problogger etc. being displayed as the top results. So you can easily navigate through the pages that are highly targeted. You can visit those sites from delicious itself by opening the site in a separate tab. You can comment and subscribe to those pages. Along with the links, you can see a click-able option to save as bookmark. You can thus save your favorite web pages by bookmarking them. You can have a look at all your bookmarks on your homepage by clicking the Bookmarks button. Similarly, if you find some pages interesting while surfing the net, you can bookmark those pages in delicious with a single click from your browser itself. For that, you can use social bookmarking buttons which are very common now.

The next step is sharing. In order to share your bookmarks, you need friends. Finding friends is the most lovely thing that you can do in these sites. In your homepage, you can see a link named People. You can see multiple options being dropped down from that link. Just select Go to a user link. Just insert your friend's name, if he is already a member in delicious. You can also contact the site owners by following their links and add them as friends. There are a lot of things you an do in delicious. You may visit the help pages to see other facilities offered in delicious.

There's absolutely nothing new to perform in this site. You can follow the same steps as in delicious. That is, bookmarking and sharing. Here, you are provided with a cool toolbar to stumble your favorite web pages on the move. You can later share and discuss about all your stumbled pages. You can favor web pages by simply clicking the I like this button that appear above the pages you visit. You can add your own web page, site etc. from the homepage itself. You can easily find out friends and invite others to stumbleupon. Almost all sort of discussions are made in these sites. So, there is no need to worry about getting traffic to your pages.

Stumble your favourite web pages and use it whenever you want. Visit the pages regularly to become followers and thus you can introduce your own pages to popular sites and directories.
